Why should you join ATMAE

Membership in ATMAE is open to all individuals, firms, institutions, and organizations interested in promoting the objectives of the Association. ATMAE has professional and student members at over 500 community colleges, universities and companies throughout the U.S.

  • Electronic Membership Application & Renewal Form - Credit Card and Purchase Orders only.
    • Use this application to join ATMAE or renew your membership via our secure website if you want to pay with a Visa or MasterCard, or if you have a Purchase Order number from your institution so that ATMAE may issue an invoice.
  • Printable PDF Membership Application - To mail in your application.
    • Use this application to join ATMAE or renew your membership by filling out the form and sending it to ATMAE with your check, money order, or Visa or MasterCard information.

Membership Rate changes effective July 1, 2004.

ATMAE Membership classifications include Professional ($80), Retired ($20), Student ($20), and Organizational ($240). The membership year for all membership classifications is 12 months from the date an application and payment is received by the ATMAE Office. Members are mailed up to 3 membership renewal invoices in the months surrounding their membership anniversary date and need not apply for membership again in order to renew their ATMAE Membership.

Membership is available in four primary divisions: Community College and Technical Institute (CCTI), Industry, Student, and University; and six Special Interest Divisions: Electrical, Electronics and Computer Technology, Graphic Communications, Management, Manufacturing, and Safety and Research. ATMAE members are allowed to choose one primary division with their paid membership, and may designate two special interest divisions at no extra charge. Additional primary division and special interest division memberships cost $20 each.

ATMAE also has three focus groups (Administration, Construction and Distance Learning/Internet) which members may join at no charge, depending on their interests and specialization. Focus groups and special interest divisions have their own presentation and activity tracks at the annual ATMAE convention.
