The Edison Awards™ are among the most prestigious accolades honoring excellence in new product and service development, marketing, human-centered design and innovation. Unique to the world of award programs, the Edison Awards are focused on the innovators as much as the innovations. Award winners represent "game changing" products, services and excellence and leadership in innovation. An Edison Award represents significant value to the winner and to the cause of innovation.
The International Technology Education Association (ITEA) is the professional organization for technology, innovation, design, and engineering educators. Our mission is to promote technological literacy for all by supporting the teaching of technology and promoting the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits. ITEA strengthens the profession through leadership, professional development, membership services, publications, and classroom activities.
The Robotic Industries Association (RIA) is the only North American trade association dedicated solely to robotics. Careers in this industry range from design and build to sales to installation, maintenance, operation and support. Corporate membership is available to institutions in the educational sector to promote networking with leading suppliers, integrators, consultants and users. Robot safety is one of the most common interests of RIA members, and the association meets this need through development of national and international safety standards. RIA values the work of ATMAE and is supportive of certification and accreditation efforts in robotics.Robotics Online covers news, trends and statistics from RIA and its members at www.robotics.org.
