Upon his 2004 graduation from North Carolina A&T State University with his Bachelors Degree in Industrial Technology, Jamerio Vinson joined Pratt and Whitney's Manufacturing Engineering Development Program (MEDP) and began his professional career as a Manufacturing Engineer at the company's Engine Center North facility in East Hartford, Connecticut. Mr. Vinson has been rotating into increasingly responsible positions throughout the company including project engineering and manufacturing engineering, and is currently assigned to process engineering as a Commercial Assembly Process Engineer. In this position, he is responsible for PW4000 fan cases and diffusers, nozzles, high and low pressure turbines for the V2500, PW4000 and PW2000 Commercial Engines. Through this rotational program, Jamerio is being prepared for a career in the fast-paced, high technology world of aerospace manufacturing.

Upon completion of the MEDP, Jamerio will have a solid base in manufacturing, design for manufacturing, integrated product teams, solid models, manufacturing processes, tooling and fixtures, gages and inspection, machine tool application and methods, CNC, manufacturing quality systems and continuous improvement 'Kaizen' methods. At the conclusion of the development program, he will be prepared to assume an assignment as a Manufacturing Engineer in one of Pratt & Whitney's Module Centers. As of December 2005, Jamerio Vinson will have completed his Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Operations Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
